Best Glow in the Dark Paint For PumpkinsIf you want to make some good glowing pumpkins, you need to get the best glow paint. But the question is, which one? And since you are here, I assume you have the same question. But don’t worry, I got your back.

I have been using glow paints for years, you can tell by looking at my site, but finding a glow paint that adheres well on a pumpkin and yields the best glow was hard. Really Hard!

I literally tried tens of glow paints, including the best ones, but all failed except one. It was shocking as I wanted to make a top-three list, but that’s O.K. since I don’t like to recommend some rubbish paint that doesn’t work.

So, without further ado, let’s unveil the curtain – The best glow-in-the-dark paint for pumpkins is Tulip Dimensional Glow Fabric Paint. Hmm, so now that you know, you can go ahead and buy it, but I’ll recommend reading this review.

If you do, you will know exactly what to expect, how to use it on pumpkin, and how to make it glow brightly. If you don’t, like, already have the experience, check it out below.

If you are still reading, you just made another great decision today. Now, let’s begin the review.

This glow paint comes in a pack of six, with each having a different glow color. The color it glows is the same as the bottle’s color. You can also check it by seeing above the cap’s head.

I really love that this paint comes in an easy-squeeze bottle; it makes the application easy and lessens the chances of waste. You don’t need a brush or your hand; the bottle’s tip is enough.

Which is the best glow in the dark pumpkin for youIt just works perfectly. The paint comes in smoothly and applies easily, with no clumps or sputtering. So, you don’t have to worry about spillage or wastage but make the designs.

I love how massive these bottles are; at this price getting six bottles of 1.25 fl oz each is rare. You might think it’s too less, but I’ve painted six pumpkins and still have plenty left in the bottles. Pretty impressive, isn’t it?

This paint looks the same color during the day as it glows at night except for white, which glows clear. It is excellent as you can design it the way you want it to look in the dark. It’s a plus over most paints that dry clear.

Once applied, it takes around four hours to dry. It may look ready beforehand, but you shouldn’t touch or mess with it until the time period is over. If you have kids nearby, make sure to place it at an out-of-reach location.

It dries puffy(gummy-like), unlike the majority of glow paints. But that’s also the secret of it working great with pumpkin. The pumpkin structure is such that most glow paints flow down, and the rest needs multiple layers.

Plus, their quantity is way lesser, but it’s the opposite here. This one dries puffy, so it charges easily and yields a bright glow. Now, one thing to notice is that some colors aren’t as “glow-ey” as others.

Green, Blue, and White are the brightest, while Pink, Orange, and Yellow are not so much. If you only want the brightest, Green is the one you need. It really fluoresces well, but you have to charge it well too.

FAQ about the best glow in the dark pumpkin

Now, one thing I noticed here is that it needs Blacklight to charge reasonably. You can’t rely on sunlight or any home light bulbs. It’s just different, it might glow well if you keep it under direct sunlight for long, but I don’t think it’s feasible every time.

Like, if you have to submit a project tomorrow morning or want it to glow tonight, sunlight isn’t reliable. And TBH, it’s not that powerful either, but Blacklight is. If you wish, you can try charging it with other lights, but I’m telling you I’ve tried everything, and hands down, Blacklight is the best.

Blacklight not only charges it well but also fastens the process. You need way lesser time with it, plus you can charge it whenever you want—convenience at its best.

While there are tons of lights, I recommend getting this Blacklight. Once the charging is done, just turn off the lights and see how it’s glowing. If the glow isn’t as expected, charge it more and note the time.

It’ll help you realize how much time you need to charge it for the glow you want. Once you realize that, you are the master of this painting. Congrats and happy painting.
